Hi all,
I will be at FOSS4G Europe in Guimaraes, with a “What’s new” talk on Tuesday 16th at 15:35, and a workshop to learn how to use OTB from python on Friday 20th at 9:30 (I think there are still seats available for the workshop). I would be delighted to meet you there!
See you in Guimaraes!
Julien
Hi,
I attended FOSS4G Europe conference this year and listened to your talk.
Orfeo is a very nice toolbox that could help my research.
However I am not able to attend your workshop on Friday due to I have another workshop to host.
May I have the workshop material from you so that I can try the toolbox by myself, please?
Thank you very much.
Best wishes for the week.
Hi Ariel,
the material of the workshop is available and licensed under creative commons.
The dataset used is available here:
https://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/packages/WorkshopData/
The source of the exercises and the solutions are available in the otb-documents repository:
https://gitlab.orfeo-toolbox.org/orfeotoolbox/otb-documents/tree/master/Courses/org
The source of the exercises is written as text file in the org-mode format. There is bash script which allows to export this text file to pdf (we don’t provide yet this export in pdf but we’ll hopefully in the future).
The main document is the workshopGuide-en.org available here:
https://gitlab.orfeo-toolbox.org/orfeotoolbox/otb-documents/blob/master/Courses/org/WorkshopGuide/workshopGuide-en.org
Hope it helps.
Don’t hesitate if you’ve any questions perhaps better to ask them to the otb-users mailing list (google groups) where you’ll have a broader audience.
