OTB release 8.1.1

We are happy to announce that OTB version 8.1.1 has been released!

Ready to use binary packages are available on the package page of the website:

You can also use the official docker image

It is also possible to checkout the branch with git:

git clone https://gitlab.orfeo-toolbox.org/orfeotoolbox/otb.git OTB -b release-8.1

This patch version addresses a problem of performance on Sentinel 1 orthorectification, especially when using a geoid. An Overall improvement of performance of orthorectification for all sensors can be seen with this release.
